About Us

The Beginning

Founded in the year 2000 by local golf enthusiasts, with a course designed by architect Harold Newgate. Harold is one of the five founders of the Compact Golf Club. He is an avid golfer/architect with a passion for sustainable architecture. When presented with the challenge of designing the Compact golf course he set out to create a an exciting 18-hole layout that maintained harmony with the original natural environment. Native flora, fauna, and topography were taken into consideration during the careful design process of this course.

The Compact Cup

Test your skills at our annual open golf event for competitive members and other local golf athletes. The Compact Cup has a men’s and women’s competition stream.
