The Western Australian Veteran Golfers Association Inc. was founded in 1982 following a visit by Mr. Macklin-Shaw, President South Australian Veteran Golfers Association.<\/p>\n
Following a meeting at Royal Fremantle Golf Club on 16 th August 1982 addressed by Mr. Macklin-Shaw a steering committee was formed on 20 th September and we became affiliated with the Australian Veteran Golfers Union, embracing veteran golfers throughout Australia .<\/p>\n

Veteran Golfers Membership now stands at around 400 in the metro area, playing 40 games a year at each others courses, in the South West over 500 play at 18 courses during the year.<\/p>\n Western Australian Veteran Golfers Association.
